When selecting a company to help with managing wealth, it’s of prime importance that the business is well run and has both stability and staying power. As Vice President, Finance, it’s Gerry DeBoer’s job to make sure that this is what T.E. Wealth can offer its clients. T.E. Wealth’s philosophy of putting client interests first is reflected in Gerry’s mandate to create a strong, viable business that will be there for clients over the long term. In addition to looking after the financial health of the company, he is also responsible for putting in place the information technology and internal controls that enable its successful operation.

Gerry joined T.E. Wealth in 1995, having worked in public accounting and as a comptroller within the financial services sector. He was appointed to his current role in 1999 and sits on T.E. Wealth’s management committee, where he reports on company performance and is involved in strategy development to guide the company forward. Given the company’s size and its collaborative environment, Gerry has the opportunity to be involved in aspects of the business beyond the realm of finance. While he can be justifiably proud of the profitable operation of the business, Gerry’s greatest source of pride comes from the integrity and ethical standards with which T.E. Wealth operates.
