About Joe

With an aptitude for mathematics and finance, and a personal interest in investing, a career in investment management was a natural choice for Joe De Giorgio. A persistent problem-solver and focused professional, Joe is committed to ensuring his clients get the right investment program for their needs. Whether it is his preparation for client meetings, ability to understand their needs or the results he has achieved for them, clients value Joe’s attention to detail and high level of service.

After graduating from Concordia University, Joe began his career as an Investment Support Officer with Royal Bank, providing technical support to the bank’s sales people. When he started to work directly with clients, Joe saw how important it is for people to have access to reliable information and proven strategies. Since joining T.E. Investment Counsel in 2001, he has broadened his horizons and learned more about the disciplines of financial planning and investment management. In 2004, Joe completed the studies to earn the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Joe continues to develop as an investment professional and the knowledge he has gained serves him in developing client investment policies, implementing investment strategies and monitoring portfolio progress. Joe enjoys his work and it shows – his greatest satisfaction comes from seeing clients realize their goals and knowing that he played an important role in that.
