About Karen

Karen Hall is certainly no stranger to change. In fact, she seems to thrive on it and it’s one of the reasons that she has been so successful in helping corporate clients provide for the changing financial education needs of their employees. A geologist by training, Karen made her own career change in the early 90s. She found financial planning to be an ideal fit, identifying it as a growth industry and chose T.E. Wealth because of the integrity of its fee-only service. Within a few years, Karen was branching out again, taking her passion for financial education into the corporate arena.

Today, Karen manages the Financial Education and Employer Services team in Calgary. She works exclusively with T.E. Wealth’s corporate clients on the design and management of financial education programs relating to employee retention, pension governance and employees’ effective use of their pension resources. In addition, Karen continues to deliver seminars to employees and coach individuals on financial matters. A critical thinker and innovator, Karen is responsible for many of the enhancements that make T.E. Wealth’s employee education programs so effective.

Karen’s valuable knowledge of financial and pension issues is a direct result of her long-term industry involvement. She is a member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners and council member for the Southern Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute.
