About Warren

One of T.E. Wealth’s most-quoted consultants in the media; Warren Baldwin offers his clients a wealth of financial planning experience. Originally a management trainee with one of Canada’s major trust companies, he quickly discovered that working with clients and developing those relationships was what he enjoyed, not climbing the corporate ladder.

In 1981, Warren started his fee-only financial planning practice in Toronto, which was an immediate success. By the end of the decade with the practice now “too big to be small and too small to be big” he began entertaining an offer to join T.E. Wealth. Those early days of building his own business provided some valuable lessons and Warren has never lost sight of the fact that clients are paying for his services and he must deliver measurable value. It’s an important distinction that has not been lost on his clients – many have been with him since the very beginning, more than 25 years ago.

Extensive technical knowledge and a talent for communicating are two of the reasons why Warren has enjoyed such long-term success. Another is that he clearly loves what he does – meeting interesting, amazing people, helping them achieve their goals and seeing that he makes a real difference in peoples’ lives.
