About June

June MacKinnon has always been a big fan of getting things right, even if it means taking a bit more time. In the final year of completing a degree in accounting, June had the good fortune to encounter an excellent finance professor and something clicked. As a result, she graduated a little later but with not one but two Bachelors of Commerce – one in accounting and a second in finance. June’s strong analytical skills, attention to detail and passion for productivity have been instrumental to her continued success throughout her career.

As Director of Research for T.E. Investment Counsel (TEIC), June is responsible for overseeing TEIC’s roster of investment managers, including monitoring performance and ensuring the suitability of these managers for T.E. Wealth’s clients. In addition, she is charged with sourcing new managers and investment opportunities as well as keeping investment counsellors and their clients apprised of what’s happening in the markets. June’s background in fund research and analysis, corporate communications and working directly with clients make her well-equipped for the challenges of this role. And as June’s educational and career experiences illustrate, a challenge is something that she is always up for.
