T.E Wealth was proud to participate in the 2011 Toronto ZoomerShow on October 29 and 30. Over 20,000 people passed through the doors of Toronto’s Direct Energy Centre, to take in the consumer and lifestyle expo dedicated to the boomer generation (age 45+). Representatives from T.E. Wealth connected with many of the attendees, discussing financial topics such as financial planning, wealth management and investment platforms.
PAST EVENTS
On October 11, 2011, T.E. Wealth held a Twitter chat that followed the theme of the Advanced Planners Conference, held for T.E. Wealth consultants a month prior.
The lively discussion focused on the theme, “Your Best 33%” focused on the issues relating to retirement, including downsizing residences, purchasing vacation homes, including foreign property, selling a small business, as well as some of the softer issues related to retirement, aside from financial implications.
On September 20, 2011, T.E. Wealth held a one-hour Twitter chat on retirement. Topics included income considerations, potential portfolio mix changes, the difference between a defined benefit and a defined contribution pension plan, opting for CPP early and lifestyle changes during retirement to consider.
