A Vice President in our Toronto office, Terry offers a full range of services to his clients, some of whom have been with him across several career and life stages. As a trusted advisor, Terry works with several multi-generational clients in all facets of estate planning, including minimizing the tax implications of wealth transfers to younger generations.
Terry has particular expertise in working with professional athletes. He understands that the earnings potential of most athletes is often short-lived, and helps young athletes put financial plans in place from their earliest money-earning playing days. Terry provides these players with ongoing financial counsel right through their sports careers and into post-retirement careers.
Starting his career in retail banking, Terry moved into financial planning in 2000 and joined the T.E. Wealth team in 2007, where he has developed long-term relationships with clients across the GTA and beyond.
Terry holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and has a BA in Economics from The University of Guelph.
Terry played Junior A hockey in Peterborough, and remains active in the hockey community as a coach.
Terry lives in Burlington with his wife and four children.
