Shooting for the Stars

On July 15, Jack Jamieson and Leanne Flett Kruger of T.E. Wealth’s indigenous services team showed their support for the Breakfast Club of Canada by attending Shooting for the Stars, a benefit dinner held at Mission Hill Winery located in the heart of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley.

The fundraiser brought in just over $161,000 for the Club’s Canadian breakfast programs, which provide Canadian children and youth with a nutritious breakfast in a safe and supportive environment so they can have an equal chance to succeed.

Over 200 guests attended, including Mayor Colin Basran, local First Nations Chiefs, Club partners, top Okanagan business leaders, Trent and his family from Anahim Lake and NHL favourites Josh Gorges and Colby Armstrong. First Nations band Bitterly Divine and Canadian singer Roch Voisine kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening.
